BIO

I'm Kayla Stroud. I graduated from Valdosta State University with degrees in English (with a concentration in Journalism) and Art (with a concentration in Graphic Design) in 2016. During my time there, I served as both the Web Editor and SpecTech Editor for the school's student-run newspaper, The Spectator. I placed 1st & 3rd for “Best Website” in the state from Georgia College Press Association (GCPA) in 2016 & 2017 for my contribution with The Spectator’s website, VSUSpectator.com.

In 2017 I was hired by Dougherty County Public Library as the Web Designer. Was responsible for the major redesign of the library's (and its five branches) official website, docolib.org 

 

In 2018 was hired as (and am currently) the Web Content Manager and Graphic Designer at Wesleyan College. I assist with website issues and help design advertising and marketing pieces for both online and print. My responsibilities also include the rebranding of the college’s athletic department and web editor of the athletic website wesleyanathletics.com

In 2022 was hired as (and am currently) the Digital Designer at ConnectCRE. My main responsibilities are creating marketing and branded materials (ie. flyers, pull-up banners, event badges, etc.) for the company's real estate conferences. In this position, I manage the company's conference website and its various subsites. 

I also served as Social Media Chair for the Junior League of Macon. I created online and digital content for all JLM's social media channels.
